At Crawford’s Auto Repair a free estimate or quote is given to every customer and no repairs are performed without the customer’s approval. You can bring your car or other vehicle into the shop risk-free and worry-free.
Here is what you can expect when you bring your vehicle to Crawford’s Auto Repair:
When you arrive to the shop, you’ll receive a friendly welcome and introduction. We’re always happy to meet new people.
We’ll ask about your car problems. Then we’ll bring the car into the shop for a complete and thorough evaluation which includes a free safety check. Other shops may try to entice customers by offering a “40 point evaluation”. We treat each car independently and evaluate it thoroughly regardless of how many “points” it may require. During the evaluation we may decide to test drive the car to get a better understanding of how it is working (or not working).
During the evaluation customers are invited into the shop to observe the mechanic. If you choose to sit in the waiting room instead then enjoy the free WiFi.
Once the evaluation is complete, the customer is again invited into the shop for an in-person presentation of all relevant findings. The mechanic will give you options for the repairs and discuss the pros and cons of each option. Some repairs can be expensive and we understand that all customers have their own circumstances. We never pressure the customer into approving repairs; rather we do our best to help the customer make an informed decision. We also have a price match guarantee.
An honest, accurate and free estimate is given to the customer at which time the customer can decide which repairs will be performed.
If the repairs can be made in the same day and you need to go somewhere, then you’re welcome to our free shuttle service. If the car has to be kept overnight (which we try to avoid), and you need an additional car then we can connect you with an affordable rental service.
We treat each car as if it belonged to our own mother and we strive to live up to our slogan of “quality you can trust.”
Other shops may advertise free estimates in order to draw customers into the shop and charge them for repairs that they don’t need. Although we display the same offer to allow our marketing to compete, we will never try to sell unnecessary repairs.
At Crawford’s Auto the customer has direct contact with the mechanic who is fixing the car. There are no service writers or middleman sales people who might encourage to you spend more than you need to.
