Annual Food Drive 2022

Crawford’s Auto Repair is teaming up with United Food Bank for our 4th Annual Holiday Food Drive. 1 in 4 children is hungry everyday in Arizona. 1 in 7 seniors is hungry every day in Arizona. Help us feed the hungry by donating food or funds, and we can brighten the holiday season for everyone in our community. We’ve made it super easy to participate with the following options:

Donate Funds

For every $1 donated United Food Bank can provide 5 meals. Clearly they have a higher purchasing power than the average individual consumer since they can buy in bulk and have other resources. This is the most efficient way to donate.

A secure portal has been set up through United Food Bank here: https://give.unitedfoodbank.org/crawfordsautofooddrive

This portal belongs to United Food Bank; there are no funds that pass through Crawford’s Auto Repair.

If you feel so inclined to go the extra mile, you can also use this portal to “join our team” and that gives you an individual page that you can promote to collect monetary donations (without actually needing to handle the funds). This would be great for families, churches and other groups who would like to join us.

Donate Food At The Shop

Crawford’s Auto Repair will be accepting food donations at the shop during business hours, from November 15 – December 20, located at 450 E Frye Rd, Chandler, AZ 85225, 480-201-0740. All food collected will be delivered to United Food Bank. Please non-perishable food items only. No glass containers. See Most Needed Items Below

Neighborhood Food Drives

Crawford’s Auto will be leaving flyers with a paper bag on the doorsteps in multiple different neighborhoods this year. Neighbors will have the option of filling the bag (and any additional bags or boxes that they’d like) with non-perishable food items and leaving it on their doorstep to be picked up the following Saturday. Please non-perishable food items only. No glass containers. See Most Needed Items Below.

These neighborhoods include:

Stratland in Gilbert (performed by the youth group of the Stratland Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints)

Marlborough in Mesa (near our old location, we still consider Marlborough our neighbors, performed by Crawford’s staff and friends)

Monterey Point II (“Frye Rd Neighbors”, neighbors at our current location, performed by Crawford’s staff and friends)

Monterey Vista (“Frye Rd Neighbors”, neighbors at our current location, performed by Crawford’s staff and friends)

Heather Place (“Frye Rd Neighbors”, neighbors at our current location, performed by Crawford’s staff and friends)
If neighbors would like to donate but have missed the food pickup for whatever reason, the two options of donating funds online or bringing food to the shop will be available until December 20.
